Setting up the License File
•After Clicking on Create License(s) a window will pop up containing the X4D_License that is generated for your project.
•Copy the X4D_License file to P:\Projects\Cadglobal\LicenseAll (X4D License Source Folder)
•Create Google License – Make a copy of any existing Google License file
•Rename the copied file with your new project name
•Click on Create Database on the License Generator Screen
•Open SQL Server Management Studio and refresh Databases
•Once refreshed, the database for the newly created project should be visible in the object explorer.
•Once the database creation is complete, Open X4D App.
•Click on the Settings icon.
•Click on Add Project(s)
•Select the X4D License of your Project from the following path P:\Projects\Cadglobal\LicenseAll and click Open.
•Click on Save and Close
•Now Close the X4D and Update Database.
Steps to update the Database
Open the Installer for the Latest version of X4D at the following location P:\Apps or from https://www.x4d.online/support/
•Launch the setup wizard for the latest X4D version.
•After clicking next on the first screen of the installer, click on check databases.
•This would pop up a window to confirm the action to update license databases. Click Yes.
•Select your Project and Click Update Selected
•Click Yes to confirm the license update.
•Click OK and then Click Close Window
•Continue by clicking Next if the latest version of X4D is not already installed.
•Else, click Cancel if the machine already has the latest version installed.
•Click Finish to close the installer.
Grant Initial Permissions to Administrator
•Open X4D.
•Select Project and Login.
•Click on Administration
•Click on Users
•Add all the Personal Information such as Name, Surname and Email
•Check the Responsible Discipline(s)
•Add All the Available Permission(s)
•Click on Save User and Save All
